SUSTAINABILITY & REGENERATION
Our charcoal retort has a low impact on the environment in regards to both emissions and compaction to the woodland floor. The gases produced in the process of making charcoal are recycled back into the firebox and combusted. This creates a much cleaner and more efficient burn when compared to traditional charcoal making methods. We are careful to not completely strip any one area of woodland of essential nutrients provided in the way of decomposing logs but we clear enough to provide beneficial environments for a broader variety of flora and fauna.
